In 2024, the Pohorje Regional Park established the Pohorje Regional Park School Network with the aim of bringing Pohorje’s exceptional natural heritage closer to children and students attending schools in the six municipalities that co-founded the park.

Schools participating in the network are provided with opportunities to explore the park’s natural sciences and conservation themes through engaging and interactive educational activities.

We believe that sharing knowledge with younger generations is essential for the long-term conservation of nature. After all, only what we understand can we truly respect, protect, and preserve.
